Here's a question - can you perform air stomp kill without having air stomp perk?

I've seen the character does perform whole Air Stomp animation if you jump down from high with Armor mode on, but does it deal any damage? Anyone tried it?

I think it's just an animation to visualize that you're using armor mode and you get less damage, like in bioshock tonic advertisemants.

"Have you tired of being punished by your wife. Want to her feel the hell. Well, use this. Incinerator..."

LUL, please release the second patch Crytek. I'm dying of crash errors here.

The same animation plays when you fall from a great height, but don't die. You'll probably be taking some damage.
