Is there any anti-cheat for crysis 2? Ive encountered alot of "a-holes" today.

One of Cryteks employes have stated today in the forums that the game's security will be boosted at the end of this week. Hopefully that means that a solid patch in on the way.

Actually no, 'nothing for the short term', whatever that means.

It's there but not kicking or banning yet. It should be logging though. Might be interesting for server admins to check the Anti-Cheat logs if they see an aimbotter on their server.

The main reason there are so many hackers now is because the cracked version works online without a valid cdkey.

I hope they do something quick. The cheating seems really bad lately. I keep getting on servers where people are blatantly hacking.

Yeah, it started really bad yesterday, people running around with infinte energy, shooting while remaining cloaked, speedboosts and such. To bad, it was a good game before that. Nowhere near as great as Crysis 1, but as Crysis of Duty, I'll have some fun with it. For a while.

Not that I will play it 3 years from now, like I do with Crysis 1. I still replay that twice a year, and any DLC to that, I would have bought instantly. And the MP is far superior, exciting, interesting and special, compared to this fragfest. A true sequelt would have been nice. Still, it is fun. For a while.

Until cheaters are stopped, I stop playing it.

I just can't understand this kids, WHAT is it that makes ruining games for others so much fun. Trainers for soloplay sure, but against others? They really must feel like winners...
