Is there any way to find your version number in-game? I have the Steam version and am unsure if Crytek is using Steamworks or something similar to automatically update the game.

So, if the version isn't prominently displayed in-game then it should be and if not how do I check my version with Steam and how should I go about updating Crysis 2?

if steam didnt downloaded anything steam wont work if you start up crysis you must get a auto downloader patch 1.1 is out.

if that dont work then probably there is a file in a folder called patch progress try that.

so far i know there isnt a version check thingy in the game.


before i forget! there is a manual patch file out ,try click the post about patches on main forum page, cry tom added one there

Ok, thank you safjx. I see it in the top-left corner: 1.1.0.0. It is not prominent but now I know where to look so, again, thanks!

It's really not obvious, should be displayed in more places but it's not...blame consoles as always I guess B-)

I agree: the version number is something that should stand-out! Well, at the least we can hope people who also don't/didn't know where it was will be able to search and find your information..
