Well having DX11 setup doesn't mean that the game supports it. What all the ppl is whining about is the game to support DX11.

Uh... there's exactly 0 point in having it on the DVD if the game doesn't use it. When was the last time you saw companies adding freeware that games don't need?

The game just has the latest updates for DirectX 11 for your graphics card.

It does NOT indicate that the game uses DirectX 11.

The latest DirectX update just so HAPPENS to update DirectX 11 stuff.

It's just something that the game setup installs before you play, to ensure you have the latest DirectX version.

I say again: It does NOT mean that Crysis 2 uses DirectX 11

yeah but games that dont support dx11 dont have dx11 runtimes on the installer discs.

it also doesnt mean the game currently has dx11 either i would say a large portion of whats needed for the game to run in dx11 is already included on the disc but it still requires more files and a patch from crytek before its going to work so everyone just calm down.

this means they consider it

i highly doubt they just put the updates on the disk to **** with anyones head :) i think they have better things to do , and better jokes to come up with
