What PC Graphical Settings = PS3

Post » Fri Jun 03, 2011 3:46 am

I have a pretty decent new gaming PC and also a PS3. I'm most likely going to get the PC version as it will obviously have the capability of a much better game, but I was just wondering what settings on the PC would equal the PS3?

I'm guessing it would be 1280x720, and would it be the 'Gamer' preset?

P.S. In the final version, are there more graphical options other than those 3 presets Gamer, Professional (?) and hardcoe, that were in the multiplayer demo..?

Thanks.

"Gamer" (AKA low).

Also there are more graphical preset options however there is no advanced settings. You can only choose prebuilt profiles.

In the leaked beta, there was different graphical settings called X360 and PS3 separately from gamer, advanced, hardcoe. They're optimized graphical settings for consoles. Even the "gamer" settings is higher quality than the console versions.
Console versions doesn't cast shadows on some map props, lower resolution textures... yo can check it out on any "tweak" website like tweakguides.com (There's no C2 guide here yet)

"Gamer" is the lowest preset config, but is not like low on Sandbox2. Many shader/postprocessing effects like motion blur, sun shafts, edgeaa, etc... are still active on gamer, unlike Crysis 1/ warhead.
The "low" setting from Crysis 1 should be "casual" on C2, but for some reason Crytek didn't want a "low" graphics config available.
