Whilst the GT220 is a lot better card, neither of those is going to get you a good experience on C2. The 8800GT which is fairly much the min recomended card has twice the power of the 220...

Suggest you go purchase a gaming card rather than a mainstream desktop card.

This is definitely a case of trying to play a game that costs more then the graphics card it is being played on.

I would suggest going out and grabbing a geforce 460 or a radeon 5770 as a couple of high performance/price ratio cards. The cheapest card I would recommend for the game is probably the radeon 5670.

Are you still at it?

For the last time, both those cards are piddling little things that either won't run the game at all, or give you a slide show.

My first card was the NVIDIA but the game crashes and the Raddeon HD is juts **** graffik even if i play on low the game laggs ;(

To be honest, neither.

Save some money and get a decent card. I know it is frustrating at times and you really want something now, but down the road you will regret it.

Brands to not make a difference for me, but i used ATI for 1 year (2x5770s crossfire) and their drivers were just horrible. Last year, i remember a driver's update every 10 days or so, it was silly. Even today, their driver's are more mature, but still suffer the same.

NVIDIA, this is where i switched to the GTX 570, and the difference is huge. Not just FPS boost, but ALL applications and games just run so much smoother. Those guys make much better drivers and though NVIDIA draws more power, there is a reason for it, it performs bloody good.

Take you're pick between brands, it is YOU'RE money and YOU'RE choice, but i am never going back to ATI after my NVIDIA experience.

Trust me on one thing though, save some money and get a good card. Go for a 6950/6970 or a GTX 570. Price for performance are just killers.

Yea give them a break, not everyone can spell graphic right? Stop being rude. Someone needs to start making a REGULATION here for infractions towards other members such as swearing and flaming, trolls, insulting a member and etc. Like regular forums have.

They need to make the forum more much stricter.

Honestly, I already went through this with him. He'll probably just ignore your good advice and go to anther forum asking "which is better, the 220GT or 5450?"
