Crappy game now, or great game later. Which do you prefer?

Clearly the PC version of Crysis 2 has been met with much disappointment. The parts that are not broken are criticized for poor game decisions or omitted features.

Wouldn't it have been better for Crytek to just wait on launching the PC version until everything was up to snuff? A server browser that works? Full features for a modern PC game?

They'd take heat just as well for not launching PC alongside console versions, but doesn't a better game trump simultaneous launch dates?

Not the first time this kind of thing has happened is it though and i am sure it won't be the last unfortunately. Let's hope they get it all sorted soon. I am actually quite enjoying the game when it gets going it is pretty good to be honest. The graphics are done well for dx9 stuff and i think all in all its well paced and exciting.

Great game later. Still, it's most likely EA's fault. Modern companies want profit and they want it now, unlike the stable business model where you hope to still be around years from now and make your products reflect that in their quality.

Fairly good game, the multiplayer only works on my brother's machine though. And the only difference is that he has a different graphics card.

the only way to a complete bug free game is let it go out in the public and see what comes back.

Yeah, but that doesn't seem to work with Crytek. We give them feedback and they seem to ignore it. It's only when things get leaked like the Twitter post that we actually know something's being done. I don't know if they're fixing what we're reporting, because they're staying silent about it.
