First of all Crysis 2 looks great, maybe not a huge leap from Crysis, but still. Anyway anyone else notice that people (on forums) hated on Crysis because it didn't run that great on a 8800 GTS. And now that at similar resolutions the GTX 580 runs Crysis 2 at 140fps or around there, and people are pissed that it doesn't choke it. whatever I just thought it was interesting. I hope the new patch chokes the GTX 580, so I can see the reactions.

Great responces, wish more people were like that. Also I'm primarily a PC gamer, but I enjoy PS3 and 360 games. Also sick of seeing article headlines comparing 2 machines that are essentially the same.

Its not that bad, just people dont like the mechanics because they have been simplified. PC likes the ability to be complex

more likely they just biching about not having dx11, plus i dont want to worked out my gtx570 too much, there are people who doesnt have high end comp either and they DO want to enjoy the game without burn down their system, crytek did a good job on it. stop thinking about just yourself and your "high-end" pc.

Is those comments pointed at me? Regardless I was talking about gameplay mechanics not engine performance. I could care less that dx11 is not implemented but the fact that tactical options/actions have been taken out and the game simplified just ruins it

Simple. We've seen Crysis 1, and it was a WHOLE lot better. C2 is nothing but a cheap console port. Which Crytek did everything they could think of to hide till the bitter end.

Look dummy... Let me put out a few honest points about why PC is frustrated:

2) Multiplayer degraded just like Call of Duty, back then it was used to be... OPEN WORLD. I bet you haven't heard of that one yet, console zombies.

If you play Crysis 1, you'll see a vast improvement compared to Crysis 2.
