beat crysis 2

Post » Fri Jun 03, 2011 12:03 pm

Beat the campiagn in just over 6 hours on the normal difficulty. ITs fun and unique but contains some plot holes. Ran into several glitches. Ingame money system stopped working halfway through the game so i couldn't upgrade my suit and grabbing enemies sometimes caused them to flip upside down in my grasp. None of this was gamebreaking but it was annoying. Also if you want to beat the game easy use the K-Volt in my opinion it seems to be a bit overpowered at least in campiagn (havent palyed multi yet). Armor also seems overpowered in the first half of the game when enemies are more scarce. AI is vastly more intelligent than the first crysis. It does often have moments of stupidity but for the most part it is reactive and deadly. So what was your guys experience with Crysis 2 campaign

You should only play it at least on Veteran, preferably Supersoldier. The AI becomes much more reactive, the armor mode is no longer slightly overpowered, and it's actually fairly challenging.

My Supersoldier playthrough lasted 11 hours. I took some detours to look around and explore the city, but still.

Yeah, I tried out the K-volt on the leak when there were servers up for multiplayer. People were running around massacring enemies with it. So powerful its almost a cheat. They were killing me with one shot at almost full energy.

6 hours LOL

I'm not surprised about that. So many people just run and gun through all the levels without actually paying any attention to the architecture and smaller details. Some managed to beat Crysis 1 in 4 hours which took me roughly 10 hours.

Just finished it in about 5 hours. Best game so far this year. I noticed the plot holes everywhere, but it still a good game.

a good game is a game you drop $60 on and finish with in 4-6 hrs?
