The problem is these companies are catering to consoles. They could have giving us vehicles ans much more. Instead they slim it down for console people. I am getting fed up myself. I still mainly play Halo 2 multiplayer becase nothing has come out that is not the same old boring stuff. For PC people they nned to vehicles. I feel like I wasted my money!!! Damn, all they have to do is give us some better graphics, old and some newer more futuristic weapons and vehicles. That is what makes Halo great. Problem is we are stuck in the past to Halo 2 because they have not made a pc version for the newer ones. Crysis 2 would be awsome if they gave us some vehicles to use, human and alien. They think that they will get us to buy a console, but older ppl like me, don't like or want to use a controller. Are fingers are not as limber as they used to be. lol They could use your GT to tie the game like in Dirt 2 to help stop piracy!

It's not the end of PC gaming, its the end of GOOD gaming.

Console games are dumbed down for kids. All a console port is, is a generic stripped down version of what a GOOD game is.

If PC gaming dies, then "good" gaming dies with it.

PC FPS still has some life left in it I think. Portal 2 is coming soon (if you wanna count that as an FPS) and Half-Life Episode 3 should be sometime in the near future. Valve will be our salvation as PC FPS players. If they let us down like Crytek has, I fear that will be the end of PC (real) FPS gaming as we know.

Since PCs are essentially the terminus of console technology, IE a system that can utilize any manner of physical faculty or software format. I think Consoles are doomed to extinction.
