Is Crysis 2 a stealth game?

Post » Fri Jun 03, 2011 2:55 am

No, really.. Should I be trying to sneak all the time? I feel like I'm wanting to play this game like Metal Gear Solid 4 or something but then again, it is a first person SHOOTER. Is stealth generally encouraged because it feels that way?

(I'm talking about single-player, by the way)

Thanks!

The point in Crysis is to play it the way you feel is right. For you, I can understand, I've played all MGS games and yes, I mostly play stealth. But the thing with Crysis is, you've been given a suit which can make you a badass tank, or a silent ninja. It's your decision at the end of the day to play however you want. This is what makes Crysis.

I'll be doing stealth playthroughs of this game when I get it on Friday.

If you stealth as much as possible it will make the game MUUUUUCCHH shorter.

my first play through was my normal type where I sneak sometimes, take out enemies other times, and it probably took 8 hours (on hardest difficulty). Right now im doing a 2nd breakthrough with as much stealth as possible, and im about 80% done and its only taken 2 hours.

For maximum fun, use maximum from your suit, that means >combine<, play random!
