PCGames.de news on the DX11 sutiation...

Translated with google...
PCGames.de:
Crytek makes the confusion about DirectX 11 in Crysis 2 is now fully complete. PC Games Hardware yesterday reported a Twitter message from Tiago Sousa, Crytek Principal R & D Graphics Programmer. He said via Twitter, the current state of many of the expected DirectX 11 patch for Crysis 2:
"Cooking some great bits for C2 DX11 tech fans, be patient guys. All I can say, is that we have 16 ms or more to have fun with pc hardware ..."
Sousa This indirectly confirms the work on the patch, the "16 ms" refer most probably to 16 milliseconds per frame. Meanwhile, the tweet is not to find more, it obviously was deleted. But there is an official collection charges by taking the Crymod forum Cry-Tom, Community Manager at Crytek. It makes clear that "a patch was never confirmed. As with the leaked system requirements for Crysis 2 would only statements that can be found on gamesas.com relevant to the players. Several websites reported at the weekend that a DirectX 11 patch for Crysis 2 at 28.3. should appear, but it is a classic hoax.

The question we face now is, why Crytek deletes the DirectX 11-Tweet? Might there be no "free" patch for DX11 in Crysis 2? Verbundelt Crytek DX11 support with DLC? Crytek would be well advised to clarify finally official, what their plans are with DirectX 11. Otherwise, PC gamers continue to speculate on the subject

If they wanna charge us for Dx 11 they can put their game where no sun is shining.

But i doubt they wanna charge us for a DX11 implementation.

PCGames is right with this sentence:

PCGames.de:

So the leaked version had DirectX 11? Right

Where is my torrent?

Seriously Crytek you've promised DirectX 11 support! I've supported you with millions of players not to give you to die and now you don't patch the game. At least to DX 11

Terrible bugs in SP and MP. Now the main quiestion:

Why did we support you Crytek?

I honestly dont think that we will be charged for DX11. Obviously what happened (as stated above) was that either DX11 C2 was so much better looking that PS3 and 360 versions that EA demanded it be removed so that Sony and Microsoft would not get on there back complaing that the console version where lesser quality than the PC version or that there was a major game-breaking problem with DX11 that made the game completly unplayable (waiting for about 50 responses to tell that is true already).

For the record I have not had any major issue or crashes with C2 other than AI running into walls, an odd instance of my JAW's disapearing as well as some slowdown on later cut scenes (but not in gameplay) and an odd bug where Alcatraz seem to want strafe right all the time (although that might a G15 issue).
Not game-breaking by any means. But the fact is we just don't know what happened/is happening and that is why people are irked by this

You would have thought they would clarify things to stop any damage being done to the pc community.....I've noticed a change with crytek since I was last here though....They don't seem as forth coming as they use to be, not sure if thats to do with being involved with EA or not...But it's not as friendly round here and open as it once was..

Until this game I thought of Crytek on level with Blizzard and Valve, people who value their PC customers.

My biggest questions is.. Why release a game around the same time as both ATI and Nvidia release their latest beasts and not test it on these cards?

If i would be a game developer and people would say this about my product i would feel really bad, holy crap.

Really sad to see a developer ruining their name community wise and product wise in less then a week but it's their own fault.

Really dark days for the PC crowd. =(

Do you have a link to this post? I've not found a signal thing on any type of announcement of DX11.
