Sad, at least you get to enjoy crysis 2, because you clearly did not play crysis 1.
Actually, I own retail copies of Crysis and Crysis Warhead. I spent hours upon hours messing with cvars, trying to get that perfect config.
I think all of us PC gamers were expecting another CryTek game that would be leaps and bounds ahead with graphics. That's not what we got, but I am sure the PC version is still plenty customizable. All in all, I think it's a great game, and the graphics are still great. There is plenty of diversity in the environments you visit in the game, too. I think it's a very worthy sequel to Crysis.
My biggest gripes with Crysis 2 PC:
Terrible default FOV.
No save option, except for autosave.
Default controls aren't so great.
DX9 only?? I hope they do that DX11 patch.
Underwhelming physics (remember what was demonstrated in early gameplay footage?)
Motion blur is too much, where's that slider bar to turn it down, like there is in Crysis 1.2?
CryTek has already said that PC gaming is still very important to them, and I am sure they will patch the game for us.
