"Xbox 360 fanboys/fangirls are everywhere and bashing PC players."
PC Players bashes Console gamers
Noobs from both side bash each other. But in the end the difference between pc and consoles come down to:
PC: Higher quality, Bigger upfront cost, overall cheaper in the long run
Console: Lower quality, lower upfront cost, more expensive in the long run
The deciding factor on PC v console for educated purchasers (and there aren't that many tbh) is whether they can afford the upfront cost. Although most people do spend ~£400-500 on a standard crap PC every few years, which would actually buy a decent (as in, a lot better than console quality wise) gaming machine (quad, gtx460 ect.) if they learnt to build.
If you're not afraid of learning about computers (which, in this day and age you really shouldn't be), going for PC gaming is a better option. But console provide a lower barrier to entry in both initial cost and tech knowledge at the expense of quality, gaming variety and overall cost over time.
However you play games, though, it doesn't matter as long as you have fun! However, console players (read: fanboys) should always remember that PC's are definitely better gaming machines, there's no comparison so should understand that it can be annoying when games are cut down (Xbox fanboys would throw a HUGE fit if gears of war 3 went multi plat with the wii and downgraded everything to do so), but PC gamers (read: the fanboys) should remember that not everyone is even remotely comfortable in tech (although, again, this will prove a huge problem for that person soon) and sometimes the prospect of a cheaper upfront cost outweighs paying more in the long run.
