I installed Crysis 2 from disk. Installed the download mgr and updated it, and auto-downloaded Crysis 2.1 patch and installed it. Entered the validation code in the download manager and everything was clean and smooth. No errors with the install.

When I ran the game, I got the AVG error. So, I turned off all the AVG services and rebooted. Now when I run the game, it acts like it is going to launch with the spinning cursor, and the Crysis loader program runs briefly, then closes (in task mgr) -- and then the cursor returns to normal and then nothing happens. In task mgr, EACoreServer.exe and EADM.exe are running.

I uninstalled and re-installed. No change. Doesn't matter if I try to launch it from the download manager or from the windows game launcher.

Hey i am having same problem it loaded first time now it wont load at all!

Same here. I'm unable to get the game running. Spinnung cursor, that's all I got from Crysis 2 so far.
I do not have any antivirus software runnung permanently, so it's clearly (once again) a DRM issue. I'm so done with such nuisances.
