When I installed the multiplayer Crysis 2, I was very impressed.
The product is clearly, clearly optimised. It pushes my hardware to the max, eligantly.

I have lived by one rule, throughout my years of gaming. "Support Companies that put passion into their games".

I want to purchase Crysis 2. Some people may complain about the game being held back, for consoles.
But the fact is, the game still looks better than any other game out there. and the engine, up to the point
is well tuned, oiled, and ready to fire.


I was very enthusiastic about buying Crysis 2.
Untill I learned that the editor (Sandbox 3) Is not included this time.
I was happy that I paid for crysis because of the sandbox, that gave the game longevity.
I would never have installed Crysis a second or third time, if not for sandbox.

Frankly, the Single player AI is very lacking. and the multi-player is under-par compared to other games that will continue to keep me logging on.

I will buy Crysis 2 when Sandbox 3 is available.
There are too many other great games out there that I can buy, today.

Securom, limited installations, and the lack of Sandbox has stopped me from buying a few
of the years most anticipated games.
For example, bethesda released Oblivion with no horses.
horses were said to be in the game, and ready before launch.
but they were withheld, so that they could be sold later for 4.99
the files were even included on my DVD that I paid for, but only unlocked after I paid addional fees.

I do not support nickle and diming content that would only take some random Joe, like myself, a few hours to Mod up. content that I would be more than happy to make myself.
And trust me, rigging up a horse model is something anyone could learn with google from 1998 and beyond.

Crysis 2 was optimised well enough that it deserved my purchase.
But I will not support products that compromise the product for said reasons.
And It will continue to do so.

I'll keep coming back to to verify the release / non release of Sandbox 3.
and Will be happy to purchase Crysis 2 upon its release. Not before.
