I've been jumping on these forums several times a day just to see if any news has come for the PC community. It's almost become habit; I've had the game since launch (even pre ordered it on Steam) and I've yet to play more than an hour. I'm just waiting for the imaginative patch to release. In my eyes, the PC version hasn't even launched yet.

I won't even touch multiplayer until that is resolved.

Same...f***ing melee glitch keeps me from meele-ing everytime i die and i get crashes whenever i pick up a weapon quickly enough to drop my current weapon. If these 2 bugs were gone on my version, i'd jizz my pants with every kill on sp.

They're probably in their boardrooms, brainstorming on how to make more money, using less money... I wouldn't be surprised if they added some kind of micro-transaction system to C2's multiplayer.

Problem with that is that the companies reputation long term was worth more than the money they're getting. Crysis 2 might be "the prettiest console game ever"(some would disagree) but "the prettiest console game ever" arrives every 2 months like clockwork and the achievement is promptly forgotten.

No they said a patch this week nobody said it would be the dx11 patch. Unless I'm mistaken and I don't think I am.

All I can really say is that I hope they are working on something. I just don't see why a company would go out of its way to be so tight-lipped about everything. All it would take to bring a little piece to these forums and to a lot of the players is a post highlighting the details of what they are working on, and answer a few questions directly as a simple yes or no, and it would be all better.

There is no official release date of the patch. If Crytek said it its rigth, but if any other gay post it is a fake. When an update comes out Crytek will give us this notice. The only confirmed is, that crytek is working on it...

Cry-Adam has announced in the update thread that a patch will be available later this week, so I will keep my hopes up.

I really hope a patch will come out soon, I mean its not like they'll ever give us our money back, but they've given us an unplayable product....very pathetic...Ive never bought a videogame that I couldn't even play...this is ridiculous!!!!

29/3 - We've been working hard to resolve as many of the post-launch issues as possible including some improvements to our game security. These updates will be made available via automatic-download later this week.

In a nutshell:

Probably will be fixes for multiplayer, nothing else.

Game's not even done yet. There's a patch confirmed to come this week. There's more patches and updates to come, everyone just needs to wait.

I did wait, i waited for the game to come out. whoops look at the state it's in.

I wish a company actually made a game that didn't drastically need patches upon release, maybe BF3 will deliver on that, but I can guarantee minor patches in that game as everybody's PC is different. Black Ops was even worse than Crysis 2 on release, and that game was a true console port, however it has been improving.
