We’ve been working hard to resolve as many of the post-launch issues as possible including some improvements to our game security. These updates will be made available via automatic-download later this week.

This better not be true, the fact that a game with NO copy protection could even be released. Crytek should have known better than releasing this game in the broken state. that being said i don't blame Crytek, the publishers (EA) are usually the once in a hurry. What i do mind is the pirates, playing alongside me...

I have for a long time been a pirate. I do my stuff in a simple way, i don't pirate games by indie devs, i don't pirate games that are not ports (pretty much only valve left), AND I DON'T PIRATE GAMES WITH A WORTHWHILE MULTILAYER. i believed in you since the second i game you my money. remember i am not made of money, I, like all other "fans", aren't. you have to play by our rules. you have to do things our way. and since we are humans we annoyed when someone gets something we have FOR FREE. it's not that hard. even COD has managed to keep Pirates out of the game, and that was broken as all hell.

In the terms of hackers in general. I do no belive there are much you can do. You can't add punkbuster, because that would be poorly integrated, and would need an almost complete rewrite. Vac can't be used as we have no KICK, and kick is what VAC is based on. VAC is for long term, and requires a kick by the side.

TL;DR you just don't release games like this. No copy protection, No control of the server I PAY FOR, no anti-hacking, and poor support.

yes, the support, The support svcks. I contacted them on the matter of my LE key, and all i got what "look up the FAQ", "here is a new one", that was all fine, and i got one. But when i then said it didn't work i got the message that IGN handles all the account management, so honestly **** THIS... but mostly of all **** DX11, just fix the game.

What's up with the account management, why can't i change my username/screen name? why can't i change my E-mail? there are soo many stupid things, it seems like you meant well but fell flat on your asses :( i wish you good luck, I'm just gonne file Crytek under my "Devs that got greedy" file, an until you prove me wrong, you are gonna stay there!

What happened to you Crytek? you can do better than this!

Crysis 2 does indeed have DRM. Online authentication (for multiplayer) and TAGES SolidShield. Both have reportedly been pwnt.

Correct me if i'm wrong but if we would use the normal EA account to sign into the game (like we do for all other EA online games) there wouldn't be an issue with pirates being able to play online, right ?

Presumably CD key checks weren't in Crysis 2 because the Xbox doesn't have CD keys?

It's Modern Warfare 2 all over again. I'm disappointed that it's EA this time.

Modern Warfare 2 was worst. Unbalanced gameplay, NO DEDICATED SERVERS (**** matchmaking!!), and stupid little hackers >:(

If Call of Duty **** couldn't be forgotten after DICE's Bad Company 2 having pathetic servers, there's no way Crysis 2 will be forgotten. Crytek never forgot about PC gamers, they just didn't have the time to implemenet the features we love (which is WHY we are getting patches and updates). Noob.
