Like everyone as seen Crysis 2 doesn't come with Sandbox 3, and .pak files are encrypted from what I've heard (I haven't tried to open them though...). Also, Crytek said they were going to release an CDK (Cryengine Development Kit) this summer, I would like to know more about this.

Will we get Sandbox 3 / SDK in a patch?
Will we be able to mod Crysis 2?
Will we be able to create our own maps and share them on crymod? (Crytek could select the best community map and give it as a FREE DLC)
I would like to have more info on the CDK to.

Once in a while I have to agree with you Wolf, I really would like to see an answer to those questions too - for me a yes on the first 2 questions would be the reason to buy the game

Oh and please fix all multiplayer issues in next patch... It's very annoying because it isn't saving your progress I've lost a lot of dog tags... and I have to make my class everytime I join a server lobby

OH... and don't forget to include Dx11

CryEngine 3 will be offiziel released in this SUMMER.

First off you all are right with saying we should search the forums. But as I know that D_wolf is a modder o Crymod I think you should keep in mind that information is very valuable to him.

Secondly his subjectline is more full of meaning. If someone creates a thread with the subject "SANDBOX" it could be about CE2 or even CE (farcry.crymod.com is still alive - a bit isn't it ?) imho.

Make sure to keep this thread high and alive for a long enough time so Crytek recognizes it. Buried threads will do nothing.

Getting an free CDK licence this summer would be awesome Modders would be able to create a lot of indie games But I can't wait 6 months for it... They could atleast release Sandbox 3 in a patch for Crysis 2 and then release the CDK this summer
