Piracy continues to damage the PC packaged goods market and the PC development community.
Majority of people here feel ripped of and probbaly would have downloaded the beta had they known what the 'final polish' looked like (it still looks like a beta). I can see alot of people laughing at this crytek quote.
Also piracy maybe one factor damaging pc goods but a high profile game that is using a console port and using old technology reduces the standard of pc games that we can come to expect damaging it also.

We know that some people have been playing with an unfair advantage in the Crysis 2 demo. Rest assured that although the demo does not have these features installed, our team has been working for some time on various anti-cheat measures that have been introduced for the retail release of Crysis 2. We would like to make sure everyone is aware of how important this issue is to us, and that we will continue to strive for a cheat-free community with Crysis 2.
I dont think its working... is it even out yet because we are past retail release now?
You promised dx11 and i cnt understand why you would put it in a patch for a game like this if thats even true that there is a patch for it.
As far as i am concerned there is no communication between the community and developers. You know that we feel uve let us down yet you still keep quite in your dark corner, maybe its time you shed some light on us? lol yer right like that will happen.... im gonna have to play plants vs zombies until bf3 comes out now.
