Crysis 2 - Multiplayer: GREAT, GREAT game!

OK: Still hard to get in a game, but if that works: For me it's already one of the best games i've ever played! And it seems that the other gamers on the servers also enjoy the game.

Go play more games please, because if you honestly have tried other games, you wouldn't be saying this (Black Ops does not count as another game).

This is a good game, it has some problems, and the community svcks (as for all games, hackers exist), but it's awesome...

@espionage724:
Play MORE games? No.
I started playing video-games in the 70's with "Pong" and was fascinated. My second console was Mattell's "Intellivision" - great thing at that time, and I had more than 25 (expensive!) games for it. Since then I played sooo many games I can't count, on nearly every console that was available. Oh, and all the money I spent as a teenager on arcade-games...
The first fps-game I really loved was Q3 Arena on my Dreamcast. Still playing it sometimes on PC - nice, because I can create my own mods and skins. I still like the Halo-series and Half-Life 2. These 3 have been the best fps-games for ME. (I know: not for everyone, cause many people like it more realistic or are less interested in competition. (Me personally, I hate realistic fps-games - I like realistic soccer-games (especially the PES-series))).
Before i bought C2, I bought Bulletstorm. Fun, but only for 2 days, because I don't like the mp-mode...)
And now again: FOR ME Crysis 2-mp is great!
(Of course some fixes have to be done, especially a working cheat-protection...)
So: Sorry for so many words, but I don't know what to do while waiting for patch 1.2
;-)

Lol My first console was a Grandstand, it had a cartridge with 10 games on it which were all variants of Pong, such as basketball, football etc

I'm loving the Multiplayer of Crysis 2 but looking forward to the problems being resolved such as disconnecting from a server, stats not saving and my limited edition pre-order stuff stabilising.

The MP is good if you ignore the current two main-issues (hackers and that progress won't be safed) but not that outstanding from the masses of other CoD-like-MPs except it's a lot better balanced and the nanosuit allowes you to use a few more options than games were you're restricted to the human abilities (e.g. go stealth and just break everyones neck while hoping that they don't use nanovision or cloacktracker)

But except that, there are some flaws like the removal of vehicles from the MP or only 6on6-gameplay (which, on the other hand means maps will always have a rather fitting size and you don't run around with 63 other players on a 4on4-map or just against ONE OTHER on a map ment for 50 as it regulary happened in the first game).

So, overall, I like the MP but it won't replace my favorite MP-game (which is acutally an almost impossible task - to be honest.)
