AMD catalyst 11.3.. improvement to graphics? big thumbs up! : Crysis

I don't know about anyone else but iv'e noticed the AMD catalyst drivers have made improvements to graphics in Crysis 2 or have utilised settings not accessible through Crysis bar the utility. Lighting has improved a lot and some of the textures seem sharper. I only noticed when i got to the bit where you see the statue of libertys head in the water, and thought "ooh that looks really good!" the whole area looked very nice for dx9 then i started to notice that lighting shadows etc had been improved.
Iv'e also noted that smoke and shadows seem better and explosions (i loikes explosions me) look very nice. All dx9 quite clearly but a very nice looking game still. All in all in even though none of these changes are huge its made me smile a little.
Worth updating your drivers if you haven't done so already ATI users.

i currently use a 1 gig 5770. 4 gig of ram, 64 bit windows 7 home premium and a AMD athlon X4 620 quad at 2.6 gig. (over clocking to 3.4 if i choose.)My pc runs anything fine. Pretty mid range spec pc but it is being upgraded to a 6000 series card shortly and also a phenom x6 processor. It is still my baby

LMAO i though earlier i am just fooling myself. haha i am running it on extreme no problem. I like AMD even more than i like explosions.
I'm off to the doctor tomorrow for some tablets to cure the horrendous illness i don't actually have. Imo it looks alright.

Definitely placebo. There's nothing mentioned in the changelog plus the Cat 11.4 preview driver is newer.

oh well. lol perhaps it's just me then. Or maybe the graphics aren't as terrible as i thought they were at first. I still like watching oil drums go bang and then i go "ooh that went kablam!!" then i go "lol."
