VIDEO CARD QUESTION

Post » Thu Dec 31, 2009 8:36 am

i just upgraded both my video cards from gtx 295's to gtx 480 in sli i installed c2 again and WOW i was amazed at how much different the game looks. the motion blur b.s. is almost gone and the scenery looks amazing. is it possible that some people that are having graphical issues theyre video card/cards arent quite good enough? i thought mine were running the gtx 295 in quad sli but man what a difference with 2 gtx 480's!. but i exited out of the game to find the usual c2 b.s. no sli...im pateintly waiting for the second patch for the sli bug to be fixed along with the extra graphics options and now ya hopefully dx11 since these cards fully use dx11. i just was wondering if anyone else had upgraded theyre graphics cards and noticed a big difference like this?the game plays SOOO much smoother now.

you should have bought 2x gtx 570 they are the same speed card they run cooler on less power and they cost less money.

While you can says lol agreed depending on where you are that may be a terrible idea. The 570 is worse performance than that Gigabyte 480SOC and it's more expensive in the UK for example.

The 570 is equal to the 480 performance wise. But even if it was better, would it really matter? Which game out there is taxing either of them beyond its capabilities?
