Will you be playing Crysis 2 in two months time?

It's so sad to hear most players won't be playing this game in two months, considering Crysis 1 was played for years after it's release. I have a pretty decent pc and expected Crysis 2 to still make it want to explode under the pressure. Knowing this game was coming from THE company that set the PC benchmark for video cards and systems worldwide, my expectations had been devastated on so many fronts. I just don't understand why Crytek would release such a product in the end. Why wouldn't they realize that it's a win-win situation if they had just produced another powerhouse of a game that drags even the latest systems in the dirt. A game that is beyond the current hardware available, and a real PC gamers game. Something that console owners would envy and feel they have to work overtime to get the money faster to build the dream machine just to play it. A game that has screen shots that the average mom or dad would think are actual photos of New York. One that has solid anti-cheat built-in from the start, and bugs worked out well in advance of the release. This game would be all the buzz in the industry for years to come, just like Crysis 1 was. You'd read about it four years from now when they're benchmarking the new Nvidia 2000GTX. The modding community would be producing phenomenal lighting and resolution mods that would make it look even more ridiculous, and Crytek, the best company out there, would stand out from the rest and again set the bar so high that other companies would only dream of having the capability to do so. However, instead I feel the only bar Crytek and EA have set is for the biggest letdown for PC gaming yet.

So no, I probably won't be playing the game two months from now.

This game will be dead after 2 months. MP is a CoD rip off full of cheaters. SP is boring with no replay value.
I just want a patch that fix things like the nanocatalyst bug. One more playthrough and the next after the dx11 patch. If they ever release it.

Funny i just started playing warhead yesterday again. And it's so much better.

Crysis 2 is a strong FOTY contender. F stands for FAIL.

THe better question, will I have been able to play YET in 2 months time. I'm still waiting for the multi-GPU fix so I can actually play it to begin with. ><

And I don't care about DX11-support as what I want to do with the game I already can do: PLAYING IT! If I want just to watch things, I throw in a god-damn DVD and watch that. Those are a lot cheaper than Crysis 2.

Have you even seen a DX11 game run? As pretty as C2 is it lacks the subtle, almost organic feel that DX11 brings to game visuals. It isn't just about "watching things", sir. As a gamer, supposedly, it amazes me that you come off as such a one-trick pony.
