I would love to have a High Resolution Pack at some point, but first Crytek shold focus on the more important issues.

According to CryTek on Facebook, lower textures were included "for optimisation :) " <-- (I swear, with a smiley face). So for CryTek to release a high resolution texture pack, they would be releasing something that goes against the optimization principle. I dunno, but my money is on CryTek not releasing one at all.

This game should've been two DVD's. The textures included should've been at least 2 gigabytes alone, not a pathetic 400 megabytes. Even Unreal Tournament 3 had larger textures. And that game is ANCIENT.

optimization that is funny i have a gtx 260 and a core dual not even a core 2 duo its a e2180 ' its a dam workhorse of a processor cant believe what i can do with it' i can max this game out. crysis 1 runs at 40-15 frames when i feel like overclocking not sure how but i can. i think my PC is magic sometimes XD

i use everything at max settings mind you so not going all low res rather play at low speeds with eye candy then at playable settings XD
