Pirates have taken ever reason to make a PC only game away. You can continue to defend or excuse pirating, and we'll continue down the path similar to what we're seeing now. I said it in 2004 and I'm saying it again now. Pirating will make (or continueto make) the PC an undesireable platform, especially for any Big Budget games.
We're moving in a closed circle there then. Because when they make a game that is inferior to it's predecessor when we all know that they CAN make it much much better for pc, then many of us (myself included) would pirate it, even though at the start we planned to buy it. How else can we show that we're pissed and unhappy with this ****? Buy it and hope for the best with next product? **** no. Port or not, but they did NOT have any excuse after first game to make crysis 2 the way it is now on PC. It's a slap in the face of PC community. We slap them back by pirating it. Give me full DX11 support, realistic physics and other stuff the PC version should've had and I'll be the first to run to the nearest shop to "vote with bucks".
You don't want to show that you care about PC community, Crytek, ah there are too many pirates, well too **** bad, we won't pay you then. If you were a little bit smarter, you'd at the very least call it some other name but Crysis and changed design a bit and it'd be fine. But it's a crysis, so no excuse for what you've done.
I do not remember any single game out there sequel of which had an inferior graphics to it's predecessor, ESPECIALLY 3 years later. This is just... I dunno... lol?
And most of "big budget games" are made by companies that make consoles anyway to keep ppl buy their damn consoles... Halo, Gears of War, Uncharted, God of War... These games won't ever be ported to PC even if they had most money from it. And you don't really give ppl a reason to buy a good PC, they'll do it anyway...
Pity current gen consoles emulators are probably 7-10 years away....
