Here is the link:
http://www.techspot.com/review/379-crysis-2-performance/

This article test Crysis 2 with many GPU (from radeon HD 4850 to the last Nvidia Card), the last Sandy Bridges processor has been tested as well as old dual-core processor.

In a nutshell, this article say:

Crysis 2 may not be exactly what PC gamers expected, but despite the seemingly console-biased launch, Crytek has proven that it's still possible to create an incredibly good looking game with DirectX 9. Many new DX11-based games have shown the advantages of the newer API, but we're no longer convinced Crysis 2 suffers from its lack of DX11 -- something we never expected to say.

they are smoking pot when the say "we're no longer convinced Crysis 2 suffers from its lack of DX11." DX11 makes pretty much EVERYTHING BETTER. for those who have capable cards you will get better frame rate over DX9 and overall BETTER performance.

DX11 options that are better than DX9: Lightning, shapes, and physics just to name a few.

They tested the game with all kind of graphic cards.
Not all people can have a super rig to play dx11 games.
Sometimes it's cool to have a game that doesn't require to buy a new CPU or GPU.
I'm quite happy to see a well optimised game like this one (i don't speak for Crossfire rig owners).
I think we should be patient for DX11, but we should keep asking for it.

The only thing that is very bothering is the AI and security problems...even with a better fire power, a dumb ennemy can't shoot you. I just finished the solo in the toughest mode and it was easy.

*I do have EXTREME settings...maybe it depends of the region you come from.
I think "gamer" setting comes from the demo.

I want what they were smoking, because that stuff had to be some strong s**t. DX11 is indeed better in every possible way. And even if it doesn't provide anything visually better, it will still perform significantly faster using exactly the same effects.

As soon as i see a new article, i will post it there.
I don't think all the journalist are smoking drugs. They have in mind the FPS when testing the game. Crysis 2 is beautiful and fast dx9 game according to them. Because the test is made on many components it make them objective and reasonable. They even describe their methodology!

Even with properly done tests we still get elitists talking crap. Unbelieveable. Oh wait, it's totally believeable looking at the majority of whiners on this board.

For EXTREME settings you have to install patch 1.1. I check it... without patch you have just GAMER ADVANCE and HARCORE. After apply patch you can set EXTREME.

It's nice to have games that low end PC's can play sure. Lovely.

But give us the OPTION to turn it up to something that melts our PC's and makes our friends eyes bug out. Why can't it cater to low end as WELL as high spec?

Oh yeah, It woulda have cost money to make a better PC version.

**** that site I'm never taking them seriously.. (not that I did, it's a trash site)
