Is there a way to resolve this issue? I paid 50 bucks for this game... I didn't play the multiplayer nor entered my serial code in it because there were so many hackers (according to this forum) until this day. And now, I can't join any server because my "Serial Code is currently in use?"

Got thesame issue, only I did enter my serial code... They ask for it when you enter multiplayer for the first time.
