Hmmm.. for "such a popular game", I see alot of empty servers, the demo was more popular than the official release. When I set my server filters for North America and a ping limit of 150 ms, I find between 300 to 400 servers usually, sometimes 500. Thing is, 90% of them are "empty". After last night, I think I might know why, some idiot named "ColdFusion" and his ridiculous hacks.. seriously, his hacks were completely ridiculous, you could'nt do anything, you spawned, then you died. I finally found a place he could'nt shoot through and typed "come get some hacky boy" .. well, next thing I knew he was ontop of my head and I was dead, after watching the replay, he walked through several walls, dropped through the roof, and landed on my head. Ummm.. that's just crazy. Crytek needs to get a handle on that some how some way.. maybe keep constantly updating their cheat detection engine so the hackers can't crack it, or atleast not as often. Hacks like that will completely kill a game and from the empty servers I see, I wonder if it has already....

The game's multiplayer is practically broken in almost every aspect.

Yeah the empty servers svcks especially if you rent a server and can't play in it since no one will join it. The namee of my server is $in City Gaming and I monitor it myself and I will ban and kick people out if need be. The only time I can't monitor is whenim at work which is form 7:30 am to 5:30 pm pacific time. I wang to find someone trustworhty to monitor when I'm at work and if I get enough players I'm willing to get more servers and people to monitor them. So please play on my server B-).

If annyone is willing to help monitor my server please pm me and we'll talk.

100-150 ms is playable enough

for the past 5 days its said that the new server's have been currently unavailable...Haven't been able to play online since buying it...anyone else have this issue?

have you updated the new patch? also i think that there is something about this in the top three posts by Cry-Adam.

It is imposable to make a game hack proof game. The best you can do is make it enough of a chalange to hack, and make the reward less.

Filter them out. There's tons of servers in North America. I filter empty and full out. You gotta wait a bit tho to start seeing a lot of North America servers pop up.
