Hand to Hand-Able to use objects?

Random items, no. Reason? IMPOSSIBLE to implement well and doesn't make sense for what the skill is.

You would like to hear the reason?? I'll tell you then:
IT WOULD BE MONSTER EPIC!! And cool. And awesome

Well then can we have a skill for it? If I get into a fight in lose quarters, and I lose my weapon (broken or disarmed or whatever) I'd like to be able to pick up a chair or whatever. And...it's not impossible to implement. Algorithms algorithms algorithms, or just give each object a 1H or 2H attribute and give it 1 or 2 grab points respectively.

You would have to give every object in the game that was not far heavier than the heaviest warhammer a damage, a reach, an animation (many or most wouldn't work with just any animation, there would need to be adjustments), a speed, health etc. (and can you use them for non-weapon purposes when they break? Do they just dissapear? There's a million factors here. Plus all the skill and how to implement it into the current system. I don't think it could work.

Atleast not yet, but technology is evolving faster than the humans, maybe in the close future games would be so epicly in depth that you don't separate them from real world, who knows. It could work, it would just take a very long time to program them all and get the animation right. But think how much more fun the H2H would be!
I just fought this nasty goblin skrimisher in a fort in Oblivion, hand to hand, and I wished I would have been able to take the Ale bottles on the chest and throw them/destroy them and make them sharp glass edged non-weapon weapons. :toughninja:

No. I think misc objects would better fit under the "blunt weapon" category.

Special h2h moves depending on skill level or moves learned would be nice. Usage of stuff like iron knuckles should have an effect too.

But stuff like chairs, planks, etc, should really classify as blunt weapons. (And as thrown missiles when thorwn.) I don't see how that would have anything to do with your h2h ability.

I'd love the ability to put my hands around someones neck and strangle them to death. Kinda like that one game that did that. It was a mafia style game, I can't remember which one.

That would be so brutal and awesome.

I like the idea of improvised weapons, like sticking a torch in someones face and setting them on fire or using a shovel or something but I don't think it should be for hand to hand. Just general weaponry or something.
