I felt like messing around with some guns i havnt used yet and i realized today how terrible the M60 is! It takes a ton more shots to kill someone with than any assault rifle does.

It's a beast if you know how to use it right.

I love it and have gotten quite a few double and triple kills because I don't have to reload often. You just need to get used to how the gun acts. I for one can't use the scar that well anymore because of how it feels, its RoF, Recoil, and how often I have to reload.

I love it too, haven't really noticed it lacking anywhere and my kill per minute rate with it is about the same as with the other assault rifles. Its great for assaulting and then holding down crash sites.

Try it with rapid fire or aim enhance.

I die from this weapon consistently, I don't really think its lacking much of anything.

then how are you supposed to use it???
1) try using Aim Enhance.
2) don't spray, use it in quick bursts and relocate your sights on the target and pull of another burst.
3) hip fire like crazy when someone tries to head-butt you in stealth mode.
4) don't run around like a maniac with it, it is not meant to be an agile weapon.
5) use armour a lot while using it.
6) reload it while in stealth.
7) using the Weapon Pro module can help you with quicker aiming and reloading.
8) using Point Fire Enhance can help you if you like to hip fire a lot.
9) attaching a Reflex Sight onto the gun might make it easier to use over the default iron sights.
10) using Rapid Fire is great if you just love to run & gun. It is great in CQC situations.

It has incredible strength and ammo capacity, I don't know why you're complaining.
It's a great gun honestly, but really I hate it for some reason. It's not used that often anyway, but is just so cumbersome, it's unreal.
