Very Annoying

Post » Thu Dec 31, 2009 2:37 pm

Hello all, I know we all have Crysis 2 here and I am annoyed that everytime I go into a ranked mulitplayer match, the connection is awful. I was just playing a game now, I had a 2 bar of my friends host who lives just round the corner, how the hell does that work?

I was going between a 2 and a 3 bar but still that is shocking. The gun fights are massively unfair, no matter what I do I will not win a gun fight, I will put a whole clip into a guy from medium to close range and he will either just 'insta kill' me (panic knife) or just kill me within one shot.

I hope that EA actually knuckles down and helps out there game. The game is fun, don't get me wrong but the connection plays a massive part in online ranked multiplayer.

Thanks for reading.

I'm pissed off with the multiplayer, It's just simply not finished.]

You guys do know that this game was supposed to be out last summer right?

Go to 2:33 and hear the words from Mr Crytek Himself.

And Duke Nukem was supposed to come out ages ago, and they delayed it, again.

Well, if it was meant to be out last summer, what the hell did they do for a year? Sit back and just watch there game fall to pieces?

For us in the UK, we are pretty much at the mercy of lack of a region filter, US connections will have priority over our own, which effects hit detection, and its probably the same for anyone in the US joining in a UK hosted game

A Region Filter would be a big help, US plays US, UK plays UK etc

The fact that it doesn't have a region filter is absolutely ridiculous. That's like game networking 101. I love all the Aussies I've been playing with.... but really, I don't feel like playing a game with a host in Australia where I'm going to ping 250

Maybe this is becoming a cliche type of thread, but I do agree.

Hit detection is absolute... malarkey.

And this is the common ground that we share....same flaw....same issues....same solution

Which keeps being repeated, discussed over and over.....and could Crytek save alot of time by acknowledging this simple feedback and letting us know they are looking into it.....yes, will they....not so far
