Hello, i just experienced a bug that sent me 5-6 levels up in level... i did a tape of it , but I just want to tell you guys so i dont get a bann on my xbox live account. the bug can be seen here =

now it happend during a host migration... so its not a common bug thats for sure. but im afraid it might get my account locked up.
And yes i did get to keep my XP ... its still there now at least.

I will accept a roll back , that saying i loose those 74 K XP i earned.

Why would you post this on the forum? You have a better chance of catching a dev/mod's attention by sending them a PM.

He wasn't boosting the way boosters have been boosting on CTR. Although this is a much much better way of boosting assuming you could get the game to repeat the exploit. If you feel the host migration caused the bug then it'd be pretty difficult to replicate. I know of one other person who has had this happen... He couldn't figure out how to replicate it either.

If you are boosting and just posting this thread to keep your acct from getting banned.... More power to you. Leveling systems are gay.

It's not a glitch per se but it definitely is an exploit by boosting for EXP.

No, you will get banned for continuing through with the exploit and using towards your advantage by gaining EXP faster than any normal user and getting unrealistically high scores. The stat servers could detect you as a booster and can definitely reset all your stats.

I just hope you don't repeat it again...

BTW, why did you have a negative score?!?

i got so much score it started all over again... (epic win)

Consider it a Crytek incentive to not break the game disk in half.

I don't think they will ban you because you were kind enough to show the bug

suprised this wasnt posted sooner. this bug actually isnt that rare. i've been in 5 games of ctr where this has ocurred.

Not sure on details but i'd advise against trying to reproduce the bug for everyone
