First instance of boosting I've seen

Ran into some good old fashioned boosting today. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up in case you run into a similar situation.

Started off a game of Team Instant Action on Pierre 17 relatively normally, going about my business on the sides and such. About three minutes in, the score did not look right at all. Two players were getting pretty much ALL the kills on opposite teams, sans a few. I went into the mall from the coffee shop to have a look, up the stairs...and shot in the head. No big deal. Teammate behind him on the map screen, he'll get him. Approached it from the other angle and he was still there. Alright...well, he must just be camping that spot out. Not a good position to settle into, but whatever. Went through it to get out the other side because I saw someone on radar and boom...shot again. The two guys were sitting in the vent, working together. Used the other one as a trap and a way of blocking and crossing up anyone coming after them. I was lucky enough to notice it and correct the problem by way of a well placed JAW rocket(they went back to doing the same thing after I killed the guy on the opposite team though), but if someone were just running around not looking at the scores or generally not paying attention to what was going on in that area...well, it would have been a bit more frustrating than what I had to deal with. Pretty basic scheme, but it got them pretty good numbers for a good spell and defiantly had an impact on the outlook of the game. Just be on your toes for that one I guess.

I was curious about this. Just checking the leaderboards makes it apparent that there have to be at least a couple methods of boosting out there. Most players at the top of the leaderboard for XP don't appear to have very many actual kills, which suggests to me that they're earning their XP by some other fashion...

But I'd assumed that most boosters were playing in private matches. Unless you can't gain XP in private matches, in which case I have no idea what's going on. It's definitely a bit disconcerting to see that there are players with seemingly impossible amounts of XP, though.

The people with insane amounts of XP are probably hackers.

No they go into classic CTR and keep picking up the flag and dropping it and another guy from the other team will just stand next to the flag so its a constant cycle of points.

Relay Taken!
