Crytek UK did the multiplayer. Crytek UK used to be Free Radical. Free Radical went bankrupt for developing crap games. Crytek rewarded a bad job done by buying a financially proven bad developer and giving them a AA franchise to destroy. Go figure.
Timesplitters was a fantastic FPS that proved, before Halo, that consoles could do shooters properly.
Haze was poor, I grant you, but it was no worse than for example, Medal of Honor (Reboot).
