Shotguns (Not what you think I'm going to say)

I'm going to say to nerd the shotguns. I love then in this game. It's a good thing as a primary and the thin spread doesn't allow for no-scope kills being easy or often. However, can we add some range? Not like 10 feet but maybe 5 feet and make it so the damage doesn't drop over distance? I don't want to see shotguns end up like black ops; useless and ineffective. Just an idea so the shotgun has a purpose again because even in moving between buildings that have to go outside to get to the next, your toast if you have a shotgun.

I thought the same thing when I first started using the shotgun. After a little tweaking and some better planning I have been owning with it. My suggestion is to stick with the single shot attachment. For some reason it does much more damage (per shot) then when it is on it's default auto fire. The range also seems to be a bit better. At the start of each life I automatically hit left on the d pad before I do any thing else. better hip fire accuracy helps for quick kills but weapons pro also is good. Mobility enhance and energy transfer would work of course. However I am trying to max out my modules so I have been using sight enhance and health recharge and it has also been very effective. Just takes patients and practice. Good luck.

Nerd the shotguns?

LOL, anyways, I wish the shotguns worked like they would in real life or at least like in Bad Company 2 with 12-gauge slugs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ti_1rPwYoAQ

That is simply asking too much from a game with a completely different gameplay style but I'm just stating my opinionated preference.

I mainly use the Jackal, I used to be rubbish with it, but I've used its speed to my advantage now :D

Marshall fails, The jackal in semi auto does more damage and has a longer one shot kill range + rate of fire is better + tigheter hip fire spread.

Honestly, it's up in the air for me. It's all about connection when it comes to the shotty. I've had a couple of games with the Marshall silenced and one hit kill the entire room. I wasn't host however I could tell the connection was good enough. And then some games....yeah let's not go there lol. It always falls on lag. It's really what is preventing this game and many other games from being great.
