I beat supersoldier in less than a day just using cloak.

Post » Thu Dec 31, 2009 12:47 pm

beat it in a few hours just by utilizing cloak and cloak enhance. Didnt have to shoot my way out of anything. Crytek didnt put too much thought into balancing the sp game.

What about the end where it WON'T let you in unless you killed the guardian Ceph?

well ok... except for any scripted events for when you are meant to defeat an enemy to progress.

Yeah, They should of made it where the harder the difficulty, the difference in how the suit performs changes.

Example, Supersoldier will make Cloak last shorter and Armor less defensive.

a game is meant to challenge a player. The mark of a good game is when it will not allow you any opportunity to beat it by slacking off.

Thats why I didn't like Halo: Reachs customisable Firefight, Why make it hard when you can make it easy?

People were asking for customisable zombies on Black ops, I wouldn't want this because beating a level wouldn't mean anything anymore because everybody will change it to make it super easy or anything else.

Well i like Crysis 2. Its just really sad when you dont have to put too much effort in beating it on its hardest difficulty.

Try playing it from scratch without a fully upgraded nanosuit then.

let me just conclude by saying that even with a fully upgraded nanosuit, the game should still show some existence of challenge in supersoldier.

See what you said there - Why make it Hard, when you can make it Fun?

I find easier difficulties fun, It doesn't matter as long as I'm good on the multiplayer. I tend to have as much fun as possible when I'm by myself, because frankly, I don't find frustration very entertaining.

In the end, I play video games because they are fun and what you said was very true.

I find fun in challenge so I like set difficultys and standardized challenges.

Although playing through on the first time using cloak is tempting no?

I guess everyone has a different opinion on fun and I respect that.

Anyways, playing through completely in stealth does not appeal to me whatsoever. It is not fun in any way, at least in my mind.

Fun or smart. Two very different ways to meet an objective. Fun means explosions blasting , knifing(if thats a word).

You have the choice to go rambo... or go splinter cell style. While smart things can be fun to those who enjoy the smart way, the other way is not the same.

Personally I like the options. Sometimes I go knife 3 guys in a row just so I can grab the 4th guy as a human shield and plow forth the other half of the map going rambo.

stealth is like the greatest its like your not even there when you can cloak I kind of wish it presented more of a challenge and tactical gameplay choice rather than the hide, dodge run tactics of how it can easily be beatin. Perhaps like longer chapters or extra chapters with more detailed story for those who would invest the time.

Also MP is like this people always in cloak, CTracker needs beef.

100% garunteed you stealthed past all the enemies which is just boring IMO.

Why would you want to run through the level anyway to complete it in one day?

Watch the Trailer again

"Be fast, be strong, be invisable"

You obviously did that well.

why would you want to do things the "hard" way rather than the smart way?

You find the weakest point of an enemy and exploit it giving your current objective.

Your objective most of the time is "get to point A" said nothing about oblidirate every enemy in between. Survival and Evasion think those are the spec ops two most precious words.

But thats the beauty of Crysis, you play how you want to... I have personally tried both approaches and they can both be fun in all truth; but if you sneak past everything you are missing so many opportunities to do so much crazy $hit.

Honestly I love how well hit and fade tactics work when using the suit: attack from one side and drop a few then bolt and cloak only to attack from a completely different direction. Of course this comes from someone whose favorite gun is a DSG-1 with silencer and reflex scope, or the SCAR w/gauss(say hello to my favorite little friend) and optics. On SS you really have to be careful though as CELL guys a decently good at head shots IME, so you have to flank them.

Exactly. Hey you enjoy doing it harder... then go nuts. You want to doing smart rather than hard, is also an option. Take your pic, or a combination of both. Play how u like, and stop complaining how others play.

Is like modding games. Those who dont like modding blame others because they mod their single player story. Who cares play the game how u like it, leave others to enjoy the game as they like it.

As long as it does not have a direct negative influence on your experience, is non of yer beezwax

I personally enjoyed going stealth through out the story on super soldier. I mean I felt like for once I had the upper hand on the enemies rather than them having me backed into a corner. I still wanna try going through from a clean slate but that will be for another weekend lol. Games should allow u to play as u want as so many have said b4 for me in this forum and this why crysis 2 is fun overall aside from the little glitches here and there.

Always looking for ppl to play with Gt: BattistaV

I stealthed through it so I could get the achievements and intend on replaying it again on SS for fun. It's the first time I've chosen to replay a game.
