So, My job has a policy of 'renting' games for free (as long as we return them) and I picked Crysis 2 thinking it would be pretty good..

Here's what I found:

Numerous mistakes, glitches, stupidity, and just plain lazy coding.
-SP enemies suddenly dying for no reason -apparently hitting a wall/object
-SP achievements not unlocking, Super Soldier, Tourist, etc
-SP being too easy
-SP JAWS unable to 'reload' (especially annoying on blackout vs Pinger, SS difficulty)
-MP suffering from massive lag (shots not registering, fast/slow moving players [not sprinting])
-MP weapons have no balance
-MP literally 'get lower recoil, pick up high rate of fire gun, spray and win' - boring, no skill.


On top of all that bull, the game still feels like it's 6+ months away from being ready for release, this is just plain lazy, TEST YOUR PRODUCT BEFORE YOU RELEASE IT and not just your stupid casual testing, test how anyone could possibly play the game, like the good ol' days, that's what testers get paid for - that's why you hire them - so make them do ALL the work they agreed to.

Storyline wasn't that great, no shocking surprises or twists or anything really.. felt "blah"
Gameplay gets boring even on Super Soldier - AI isn't as "smart" as all the advertising claimed it to be. CoD Black Ops Veteran mode was rough, hard, frustraighting and demanding you to have skill or get lucky... Crysis 2 Super soldier mode is... you just die a little faster then the other modes... what a bore.


I am sure glad I rented the game for 4 days instead of buying - because I'd of asked for a refund (and got one easily)

Lookin at all the patch notes you didn't do jack squat before release on testing.. I mean come on... basic glitches when sliding and using weapons? WTF? How do you miss that? JAWS not being able to "reload".. seriously, you NEVER saw this?

Before you talk about DLC, before you talk about expanding or adding new guns or whatever - FIX YOUR BASE GAME. Get the JAWS fixed, get the Achievements Fixed, tighten down the AI, give Super Soldeir something to be proud of accomplishing, instead of "yay, I just put a few more hours into it then I needed to" and honestly FIX MP GUN BALANCE, it should be about SKILL not Spray and Pray.
