Played a game with one of the Developers "CrytekRichW" (IF any doubters would like to cross check that gamertag with the Crysis 2 play with devs day on the official EA site)

He said that they have finished the first DLC pack and are working on the second so when its released is anyones guess.

Hope that helped!

Hmm, they finished that DLC pack fairly quickly........

If they can make a map apck in 3 weeks then why is this game so buggy and unfinished in three and a half years?

These are file names found in the DLC folder from the leaked PC beta. The game has 12 missions involving several areas some of which have been altered relit and used in MP

Roosevelt - Possibly an area from Road Rage
Central Station- possibly an outside area in Unsafe Haven
Subway - Possibly an area from Dark Heart
Tanker-probably a modified version of the pier area in Lab Rat

Couldnt tell you to be honest mate,

Only guess is from what else the Dev said, that the engine is really complex and every time they fix something something else breaks so there is probably alot of Q & A and fixing and breaking of game mechanics.

They have a seperate team working on DLC apparently and to be fair id rather they take their time with this patch rather than rush one out like the last one just because they were pressured by the community and EA and have it break more than it will fix.

Well, if that is true then the Hyped up Engine that they are using fails. I'm not a person that gets wowed by stuff like anti aliasing or goes up to a lamp post in the game and goes " Woah, nice coding on those lights man "

All I care for is good framerate, good gameplay, Good graphics in that order.

I leave the detail anolysing to the PC graphics queens, I bought it on xbox because I thought the demo was fun.

And I think their Engine, the more I look at it....is quite ****.

Are we 100% sure that it is a map pack?

I was really keeping my hopes on a co-op experience but well, at least the second one is in its works, hopefully.

Any game that runs on 5 FPS will fail no matter how good it is.

If your playing a rubbish game on 60 FPS then at least its a working game and you can say it svcks.

I would rather have a picture game that runs on 1 FPS than a game with absolute crap gameplay on 60(+) FPS.

i don't care about graphics at all. i don't even own a full-hd tv set.
most beautiful game out there is still "broken sword" with it's hand panted comicbook-style graphics, IMHO.

I really don't either dude. I bought Crysis 2 primarily because of it's unique attitude in the FPS genre and the "level of depth" that it adds to tactical gameplay.

After I played through the beta & demo and finally the retail release was I really awed at the amazing graphics & visuals that they have managed to create on the consoles.

gameplay > graphics.
