Tracker Module *cry adam*

Post » Thu Dec 31, 2009 6:50 am

Tracker is an interesting module but I think it's broken. It is supposed to highlight enemy footsteps within nearby direction of you however cloaked individuals tracks are left untracked. Cry Adam could you let the development team know so it can be included in upcoming patches, thanks.

Description doesn't say cloaked people are exempt so that's my take on that. Steps are steps so cloaked or not the ground will have evidence regardless lol.

So we should just axe cloak tracker from the game?

Logic youve used is totally fine on a realistic bassis but not in terms of game balance.

Axe cloak tracker? That's for tracking cloak, tracker are footsteps. I don't get how it throws the game out of balance. =/

Why not combine them? Make tracker track cloaks at like level 3. Not that I see really any point in changing it at all... Just saying for the sake of argument.

He probably watches the wall trailer over and over jacking off at the sight of Alatrazes but in the nanosuit.

And so blatantly has the "Most Crotch shots" award dogtag.

Well obviously no tracks in the air when jumping lol. That'd be one of the main counters against itt....which I've used against tracker users lol.

you are constantly insulting other people to then call it a joke later on.
while sarcasm and irony work in rl (but in your case would still be annoying, cause you are not funny, by any means) they only work poorly in a text-only form of communication. if you're the grown-up you claim to be, you would've realised that by now and should have adjusted your "humour".
instead, you go on posting childish comments ("trolling" so to say) and use this "you don't get the joke" argument as last line of defence, when realising you posted crap.

So if I annoy you and your boyfriends so much why dont you just put me on your ignore list and quit posting at me, your now added to mine because you are a blatant troll.

As for the thread topic, modules improve as you level them up, you only get the basic ability when you start using it, as you hit its targets to level it up it increases its ability

@Cry-Adam...thanks for monitoring the behaviour

Yes hopefully I can avoid being attacked on every thread I go on now, cheers Adam

Tracker upgrades just increase the fequency of the footsteps and the sound it makes.

If your really after killing cloakers, Cloak tracker is the module for you, fully upgraded every 3 seconds it displays enemies with a white sparkle.

Or you can train yourself to see cloaked player without the aid of using a suit mod.

Besides, Tracker should NOT work for cloaked foes that is exactly what Cloak Tracker is for.

But the're CLOAKED. YOu shouldn't be able to see the footsteps or else cloak would be redundant.

same with tracker, pretty useless. just use your eyes to see where they go, being uncloaked and shoot them in the back.

Tracker is for hunting guys down. I have no problem seeing cloaked individuals when I see them in front. I do have cloak tracker 3 and it works as it should. If the enemy cloaks near you, he is highlighted. If he cloaks from a distance and you run into him, his cloak is normal. I expect the same with tracker, enemies close to you should have a showing footprint. It's the joy of hunting people down. =]
