I haven't heard anything since last week when Europe got the patch for the PS3 and how it made things worse. Anybody heard anything aobut when (if at all) a patch that works will be here in the good ole US?

Excitingly vague I think... I keep hoping to refresh the forum page and see a list of people screaming about how awesome the patch is.

Well, I'm from Europe and I downloaded the patch 1.01. I've only had one crash before I downloaded the patch (I had been playing for about 1-2 hours). But I haven't crashed after I downloaded the patch, and now I've been playing for 23 hours. Framerate has generally been smooth, and I've experienced very few graphical glitches. I'm actually enjoying this game very much.

Well, the 360 apparently already got their patch from what I've read....how come it takse so long for us ps3 users?!

The patch is already out? For some reason my system is'nt detecting a patch and everytime i play i'm signed into the PSN.

cuz sony is lazy, they dont even update the store til 10

Well, from what I've been reading in the 360 forum here and the NV forum over on X-Live, they still don't have a working patch either.

I just powered my PS3 back up and there was no patch as of yet. I managed to get in a good 35 minutes or so of solid game play before the game froze. As it is, I'm afraid I'm gonna have to shelve NV until there is official news from Beth that the freezing/lock-up issue is resolved. These reboots can't be good for the HDD and when I powered on just a while ago, there was a very long black screen between the trophy loading and the notice about autosaving which was a first for me.

I don't know. It just really does svck that I have what I think is an awesome game that I just can't play. It's frustrating because for the short amounts of time that I am able to play, I enjoy the heck out of the game.

I just read over in Beth's Blog http://bethblog.com/index.php/2010/10/22/an-update-on-updates/ that there has indeed been a patch released for the 360. They also updated confirming that a PS3 patch has definitely gone live in Europe, so hopefully tomorrow (Tuesday) we will get something over the PSN. Fingers crossed!
