this game has been out a little over a month, calm the **** down you nerdy cry baby biches! the multiplayer is by no means "unplayable".
nah it isn't. he's absolutely right.
problem is, crytek didn't hand out instruction with their revolutionary MP game.
facts are:
the main mode is a improved version of RDR's "free roam mode", in C2 it is simply called "the lobby", because crytek is a down-to-earth, god-honest company, that would never advertise something as bigger as it really is.
i've spent so many fun hours in this gameplay-mode!
but still, due to the lack of a tutorial, i haven't figured out the controlls quite yet. i've seen so many user in the lobby mode joining the match and dissapearing just as fast (stealth mode!) but i haven't come around to figure out how to use it myself just yet. same for the armor mode.
but from time to time i get lucky, win the lobby match and get into bonus rounds.
now, those seem like a common FPS at first glance, but there's so much more to it!
taking into account how much battle damage you took in the lobby mode (ranging from red to green bars), your operator is reacting faster/slower and his hands shake more/less, resulting in different accuracy/stamina for operators in different shape... oh the realism!
and then there's quicktime events! what other mp-fps does offer that? every now and then a "host migration" screen will show up, which is a future military term for "beam me up"/redeployment.
but once a gain - hence to the lack of a tutorial, i'm not quite sure what to do then and more often than not, i loose and wind up in the lobby mode again.
but that doesn't matter. i'm having a ball there...
