Dashboarding is getting rediculous

Post » Thu Dec 31, 2009 10:29 am

It seems like once every two or three games now, the host dashboards, early in the game, late in the game, whenever. I'm seeing it way more frequently now than even in CoD at any point. Anybody else notice this, or does the host simply quitting make a failed host migration? Either way its getting pretty annoying.

"If I can't win...NOBODY WILL.

MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"

Well, that's pretty much it.

Well, they can either fix their host migration or get dedicated servers.

They probably dashboard to get rid of the grain glitch. Just a hunch, I could be mistaken.

I dashboard only when I'm getting **** by hit registration, which I'm never the host.

Personally I make it a point not to dashboard in this game, because I know the chances of a successful host migration are like 20:1.

Honestly, I don't think a lot of people dashboard on purpose. It's more like the game forces them to. Here is my experience when I've had to dashboard or turn off/on the console.

-I get kicked out of xbox live...it's only this game that does it
-I get stuck in a black screen, audio is present.
-When I die and try to re-spawn, I'm stuck looking at the in game cameras
-The game freezes on me

Those happen at least once a day and some more than I'd like.

Yea, it really svcks. I have quit once because that game was so lagged to hell, that I couldn't take the lag. People were actually teleporting, after being killed a few times I said: "that's enough"

I don't think everyone dashboards either, just those few that want to salvage their precious k/d ratios. On the rare occasion that I get a migrating session announced and then actually become the host rather then getting dumped in a dupilcate game. I quickly get booted from XBL. That happens to me far less often then just get migrated, maybe once every other day. I'm might try looking at the previous hosts gamercard to see if he is still online, or dashboarded next time it happens.
