The Cake is a Lie, The Patch is a Joke - VERSION 2 -

Post » Thu Dec 31, 2009 10:21 am

So, you delete the original, and you'll delete this thread too.

Just like you delete the majority of threads on any patch, be it the release day patch (which we didn't get patch notes for anyway), the March 31st patch, or the current joke of a patch. Good work Cry-Mods, little to no communication, patch notes that get posted any where up to half a week AFTER the patch has been released and censorship of negative comments directed at your parent company.

Have fun on the sinking ship that is Crysis 2, atleast the website embodies a modicum of honesty in being blatantly in BETA stage, but then again, we didn't have to pay for THIS beta.

" The reason of leaving the game in Beta stage is to leave the player guessing what the game final game would of been like, This inspires creative thinking and adds enjoyment to the gaming experience "

What are you complaining about now lol?

In just after a month of release they've released 3 patches and a hotfix. The game is very playable now and enjoyable.Even if they didn't release another patch I would be very satisfied as it is. We will probably be expecting another 1-2 within a month at the current rate of patching. So it's going to go from good to great.

People need to stop whining about the game, nothing wrong with it now. Nothing I have experienced now as game-breaking. I was one of the first that used to rant on these forums about things needing fixing and now they've more or less sorted a lot out, few annoyances here and there but that's it. Yes, some people have the infamous grain glitch but never seen it in probably over 80+ hours on this game.

I think you need to chill out a bit, we've heard the same hashed arguments over and over and over again. What does it matter if they released it in "beta" stage, it is what it is and now IMO it's a final build after the patches.

In regards to the current patch being a joke, it isn't by far. The best patch so far and has improved the MP experience by a lot. Even if my host is in America I still have lag-free games and can still own noobs whatever country there living in.

Just enjoy the game, and if the MP is that bad then perhaps it's on your side. I don't hear many people heare complain that it is UNPLAYABLE. That sounds to me like a joke. If I can play it 3-4 hours day then how can that be unplayable?

Fanboy Much?

Everybody is entitled to their opinion, just like you are, you are not different from anyone else so don't tell other people that they should stop expressing their opinions and then telling them to listen to your own.

If a fanboy is someone that states the truth, then I am guilty.

People are entitled to their opinion but if it makes little sense then I am "entitled" to express my opinion. Instead of trolling on this thread under the guise of appearing rational while providing no real useful information except creating antagonisation, why don't you state who you agree with and the points WHY?

You mixed Fact with opinion in your 1st post and sometimes tried to make your opinions come accross as facts, I don't like politicians so I'm not speaking to you anymore.

Ok don't speak to me anyone lol, you sound like a 5-year old.

Hope this thread is deleted. Completed pointless, people here haven't got a brain cell to rub together. Cannot provide intelligent responses so resort to ad hominem arguments. Pathetic.

i'm happy for you that everything turned out fine. so you got accustomed to the way c2 plays and stopped complaining about lag when really you had none.
for those that really experienced game-breaking lag, the fun still is not on. look at the patch infos. they never worked on matchmaking.

so why won't you just stop whining about other peoples problems, asshole?

Wow, when did you get on the payroll Buddha?

Hotfix gets dropped in our laps and you've been swooning ever since. I can't play the MP, have you understood that much yet? The largest problems that are most frequently commented on and complained about have not been addressed. The grain glitch was only recently stated as being worked on, as for the migrating session problem I have, that I have talked to 3 others that have the same, identical, constant issue, has not even been acknowledged. Nor will it likely be fixed. Deleting every thread about the patch is in no sense rational. It isn't just in this forum either.

You agreed about a month ago that locking and deleting threads was a pathetic way to manage the situation, but ever since the hotfix you have been enarmoured with Crytek. The hotfix was a big, shiny distraction. That they have released 3 largely uselss patches within a month of release pretty much tells us they knew about a host of the problems well before release, and probably well before printing the disks and shipping them, and have been working to resolve them. But guess what? Most of the issues, bugs, and glitches that people are complaining about are still here. And what would be the reason for that I wonder? Could it have something to do with the moderators in their "official" outlet not even having played the MP half of the product? Could it be that without any imediate reference beyond the forums, they have no idea what problems are occuring in the MP from actual first hand experience?

You don't need to hope this thread will get deleted, it will. They brook no disent, they censor any negative comments on the process, and even go so far as to delete threads that ask for clarity on the patch in a civil manner. That is pathetic. Reams of idiotic, derogatory and duplicate posts remain, but as soon as a few threads about the latest patch come up, WHAM, Deleted, No Opinion for you!

I will continue to provide some disent because of how dissaffected I have become with this company and the manner in which it has handled itself since the release of its product. Putting out media statements about the games supposed virtues while the forums still compiling lists of bugs FOR YOU is beyond retarded. It is borderline offensive. So as a change of pace from those who want to defend the companies ineptitude in handling their relationship with their consumer, who want to revel in the glory of the "finished" state of this product, who want denounce anyone who is pissed off and frustrated as morons, I will continue to antagonise.

The thread was deleted because all but one post was about Brink and TF2... Instead of taking moderation actions personally, start abiding by the rules.

Stay on topic (which in this forum, is Crysis 2 on Xbox 360), or don't post.
