Leveling the Power Module

Post » Thu Dec 31, 2009 7:31 am

Hey guys,

Anyone know a more efficient way to level up the power module? I'm finding it a much slower process than leveling up the armor or stealth modules. For me, at least. I can only get around 150XP per game for it.

I figured I'd simply need to use the techniques affiliated with that module more often (for example, I'm using the mobility enhance, so I tried running, jumping and sliding around a bunch in one match) but I still came up short on experience points.

Any suggestions?

I've had the same prob since day one lol more so with the armor one.. i average about 250 - 400 xp a match on armor and power, but my stealth is always getting 1k+ ...odd haha.. im a stealth run an gunner tho.. main class is scarab silenced with extended mags, ay69, JAW, and mods are energy transfer3, stealth enhance3, and mobility enhance1 (just started using it a few hours ago) and I by no means camp.. ALWAYS running and gunning like a madman.. 2.31 kdr.. rank 29, and my armor and power mods are level 8 =/ and stealth is level 12.. but try using nano vision more often? might help as well.. sry not much help but as I said, ive had same prob haha

Yeah,

Stealth is bound to level up quickly since it's quite necessary to keep it on most of the time. My armor module was a bit slow to level up as well, but I played a few matches only using armor mode and it at least began to level up quicker.

Still at a loss for the power module though.

Run everywhere. Even when I do not have my running(mobility enhanced+nano recharger=run for ever)set up I still speed demon all the time. Just run. Its that simple. Oh and jump too. This game is so much more about movement and positioning than most FPS that you should always find that alt route....then air stomp those poor noobs below you who think this is COD.

my power is the highest for me... idk y, its like 3 lvls above my stealth and armor, which I use alot
I use mobility enhance for everything... and I aim with the sights, and I get the most for power... I have no idea why (I do run, jump, slide, and other such shenanagans quite alot because I play jackal and feline pretty much all the time which requires alot of navigation to close the gap on the guy before you start shooting him) also due to my close range play style, I end up meleing alot, I think its like my second or third most used attack or something like that. Anyways my power is 12, armor 9, stealth 9 and I'm level 26 I believe. I play alot of crashsite if that helps

Don't you need to get kills while using the modules, i.e. if your in armour and get a kill or you survive an assult while in armour will get you better XP.

I find it's better to stick to stealth, then change to armour before killing, also if your seen, go straight to armour and try for the kill.

You never know, but I do feel armour is more of a handy cap than a perk.

Crash site has become my friend as far as being able to use all the game mechanics at my disposal, I always seem to get "most time in visor mode" and "Most enemies tagged" awards, I love spotting just seems like no one else does this, might be a good tip to some of you out there, its always good to keep enemies highlighted.
