So after waiting and waiting and some more waiting i visited a game-store to purchase crysis 2, as it happened i was so eager i even purchased the Limited edition which seemed to have nice bonuses regarding online content. However ... after finally finishing the campain (which was great), i realised the shop which has sold me this "Limited Edition" has forgotten to include the activation code/card. Iv researched and i believe this limited bonus grants instant rank 5, with digital camo on the scar with some extra weapon attachements + platinum dog tags, the game store which is a good drive away will not be open till atleast monday thats if i can even get there for then, theres going to be some waiting Between now and then im betting i can reach rank5+ so thats the bonus xp wasted or does the bonus xp carry on up untill the rank50? Basically is looking like iv paid extra for a digital camo and some earlyer unlocks. Does anybody have any advice sorry if this is in the wrong section, im new to the forums and atm not entirely happy about the situation

It will only take you a few games to get to rank 5, and you can barely tell the difference between the regular gun and the camo you get, don't worry about it.

Hi, Firstly getting to level 5 only takes an hour or so.

With regards to the limited edition, I purchased it as well, the limited edition code should be in your box on a Crysis 2 limited Edition flyer. (Xbox360)

If you purchased a new game then it should be there, if it was second hand then the code would have been used already.

To be honest if you don't have it all you will be missing out on is the Hologram Decoy, which you can unlock anyway, and it's mostly a wast of time, since it would fool many people.

Hmm well i purchased the game brand new but it was from one of them type of game stores where they have all the cases pre-opened ect ect, maybe i can get a refund and purchase the standard edition if not my loss i suppose Thanks for the replies.

Now I know from where all the sellers from ebay have exclusive/limited DLC codes.
Dunno what's the law in ur country but u should go to the store and demand full (return game) or partial (keep game) refund because product is not as described.
Anyway Limited Edition is a crap.
Bonus XP - like someone said before 1 hour of playing. I used code only for Scar skin at lvl 12 and that moved me to lvl 13
Scar weapon skin - at lvl 50 u will unlock CELL skins for few guns, but I'm not sure is CELL skin is the same as Digital
Weapon attachement - hologram decoy for Scar. You can unlock it by urself after about 20 kills. When u unlock it by code it doesn't unlock skill assesments for it so u can't earn extra XP by using it anyway.
and my favourite:
Unique Platinum Dog Tag - actually it's a platinum frame for dog tag. I'm not using it cause it's quite small so every dog tag picture is cut by this frame and it looks ugly for me

the CELLcamo is the only one that looks different to the others. it's some kind of gray and white hexagon camo with the CELL logo on it and looks pretty nice!:)

Thanks, i know the law in England but unfortunatly not here in Norway. Its just a pain, basically iv paid extra for what is now sounding pretty poor "bonus" and i dont even receive any of this due to the seller not including a unlock card. Im not too sure if to even start playing online because if i do get the card i will simply have lost the 1-5 instant ect as i can easily be that rank, the bonus descriptions are terrible "Bonus Xp" means to me that you will receive extra xp per level up untill 50 not a simple 1-5rank instant Being able to unlock the weapon attachment at a later level svcks in a way as my bonus for paying more money will again be wasted Feeling rather dissapointed now i know all this will just have to wait and see what the store says when i phone tommorow its too far to be driving just for them to say "No" ect ect (( Thanks for the posts ppl it is apreciated.

I gotta admit I felt ripped off seeing that the hologram is unlockable in game. Whatever happened to exclusive content for buying the game upon release? The gun camo is pointless, and I mean at least in game like HALO Reach the exclusive stuff like Recon and flaming helmets you can't just get in game so late comers miss out.

I pre-ordered my Limited Edition, but it was the same price as the standard version, I guess all shops are kind of at it now, they all want you to buy from them, hence the little gifts as incentive's to pre-order from there stores.

The CELL camos look SO much better than the Urban. The Urban camo you get from the LE really doesn't look any different from no camo. It just has slightly lighter shading in spots.

The hologram is fun, but as said before, you can unlock it playing normally. Personally I don't use it because the extended mags are SO much more useful.
