What little changes to MP would you like to see most...

I am starting this thread so that we can have a place to voice our opinions on how we feel Crysis2 MP could be made better, what little changes do you feel could make it more fun in general.

Please don’t turn this thread into another flaming lag is terrible, the feline owns or this should be fixed, all of these have already been covered in other threads.

Please keep it within reason, and if possible state your reasons why.


1. I only ever play free for all, but I feel the matches are too short. Raising the kill limits from 25 to 30 and the time limit from 10mins to 15mins would be more fun.

2. Single Shot perk, since we don’t have to unlock this and it has no kill awards, I feel it should be part of the weapon as standard. However due to the 360 controls, if we fitted an under barrel shotgun for example then, the weapon should just default to full auto as usual. However passive perks like larger ammo mags could still be used with single shot.

3. The assault scope, I feel the red target and range crosshair is too thick or wide; sometimes targets at range are completely covered by the cross.

4. Weapons muzzle flash is too bright, when using iron sight in full auto you cant see through it, it’s awkward when your trying to shot someone in the head and they move, but because you can’t see through the muzzle flash you can’t track them properly. Reduced muzzle flash would help.

5. An assault scope for the Scarab would be welcomed.

6. That fine young lady who shouts at you if you don’t come in the top three position on free for all, I think she needs an extended vacation, I sure hope after 1000 matches I’m still not having to listen to that every 10 mins or so, perhaps if your kill ratio was higher than your death ratio she could take a break, lol.

7. Should there ever be a Crysis 3, co-op mode in SP would be cool. I know nothing to do with MP, just a thought, just a thought that’s all.

8. Grenades and launchers, should carry two rounds each, I never have enough nads and you can’t pick up grenades or jaw’s.

9. Sometimes when the target is moving we have to melee three and four times to get the kill, I feel once or twice at most should be the limit, especially when they can turn around and shot you before you can melee or mince them to death.

10. Nearly forgot, would it not be better if we could use two perks per module, I know I have hit on this before, but six perks instead of three would be much better.

11. FOV, is too shallow, I prefer my fov set between 90 - 100deg.

Edited for 10.

1. I think 25 kills is fine as it is.

3. I have found nothing wrong with the assault scope, it's fine with the SCAR or Grendel.

4. I only find muzzle flash to be a problem with the SCAR. I cannot use ironsights for this reason alone. I use SCARAB with ironsights as there is little muzzle flash plus having no scope on it allows me to see more of whats in front of me.

5. Well the SCARAB has the benefit of silencer, so if we added a Assault scope to SCAR then it would be made completely redundant. SCARAB has better recoil, DPS and mobility than SCAR so if we took away it's uniqueness it would be pointless other than a pitstop until we get the SCARAB.

8. No. Grenades and all types of explosives are annoying enough as it is. If you want to noobtube more then use Ammo Pack.

9. It's only 3 hits to kill if they are in armor, otherwise it's 2. That's good enough for me.

10. BIG NO NO. Could you imagine people running around with Energy Transfer, Nano Recharge, Stealth Enhance and Blind Spot with Weapon Pro and Retriever. Would become absurd.

Whenever I am putting down the HMG, the hand moves as if to drop it and then stops, but it's still holding it. Then it disappears from the hand. They should make it so that it falls out of the hand, not disappear.
