I used the code and got the Skin, Hologram, Platinum DogTag but no Bonus XP. I had played my friends copy before I bought the game and he had the limited edition. That did make me go up 5 levels but I didn't keep everything. So was it supposed to stop me getting the XP as I have had it once already?

What do you mean you didn't keep everything...

I think the bonus XP is the level 5 start, now I could be wrong but if you played your friends copy on your 360 then you would have started at level 1 and progressed higher than level 5. In which case entering a code should not give you extra XP.

I honestly didn't like the bonus xp. It didn't make much of a difference starting at level 5, and with that I lost actual experience playing against other players, so I wasn't exactly prepared when I left the new recruit group.

Agreed, the only thing it did do was save you having to use an unlock for the Hologram decoy.

I’m not sure about the XP, if you just purchased the game and started at level 1, then your right you didn't get the XP=Level 5 start. If so then I have no idea why, perhaps you should contact support. But to be honest you'll pass level 5 in your first hour of MP gaming.

Your Plat Dog Tags should be there if you got the rest, you'll have to change it over yourself, should be under Multiplayer > Operative Status > dog Tags >> Press X.
