Yeah I sold it. COD just didn't do it for me anymore. It was far too slow and campers seemed to grate on my nerves much more than I remember. I kept C2 and I'm sure I'll still play it after I get Brink too. I was watching videos of the new COD map pack and all I could think is how I'd like to power jump up on that building or man I could cloak right around behind that guy. I was actually very good at BO before I stopped playing it but it just didn't seem to give me the same enjoyment as it used to. Flaws and all, Crysis 2 gameplay ruined Call of Duty for me. Oh well. Now I know I'm going to get trolled for this statement (I'm looking at you TwistedBuddah) but now I just can't wait for the four new Crysis maps on the way. 800 ms points for four new maps as opposed to 1200 ms points for four new maps and a zombie map that I'd play once. Sign me up!!!

+1. I know that there are a few flaws with Crysis 2, but overall I've found it to be breath of fresh air. I'm excited about the map pack and for once it seems that we aren't getting ripped off.

BO is Sh*t, I sold that game for C2 and don't regret it. I enjoy C2 a lot, despite the constant annoyances, and I've played it since it's release and now I'm 4th prestige.

I sometimes watch BO gameplays on youtube and I cannot fathom how people play a game were your always exposed with no cloak. This is why I stopped BO, I found the play style too defensive. Checking every corner and every vantage point, people with ghost making the game more difficult and then getting killed in a split second was no fun for me whatsover. It was extremely stressful playing it. I got so angry sometimes on that game that I had to calm myself down and take a breath. I felt like hitting and breaking things. I NEVER behave like that on any other game I have. I am a very non-violent person.

I'm looking forward to the DLC also but I am unsure if I should hand them money for how they have treated us. I'm still up in the air about it. If they provide something in the next couple of weeks worthy then I will definitely buy it. If not then Brink, BFBC2 and LA Noire look like better alternatives.

800ms is a very good deal. Wish it was 1200 for 6 maps, I would prefer more and more weapons but I suppose other plays that didn't have the DLC wouldn't be able to see your weapons as they wouldnt have the textures and so on. I do wish that they would sell a horde mode, would be so much fun with friends.

So are the new maps a Definite. Because I don't remember reading anything official...

Hope I didn't offend you Buddah, I just know you've stated that you feel like we should boycott the new maps until they patch the game properly. You are a decent guy and I can tell you care as much as me in wanting this game to be everything that it has the potential to be. I still love playing it though. and as for the comment above, the new maps have been confirmed (Central Park, Loading Docks, and two others that I can't rremember exactly) and have been confirmed for 800 ms points. Unfortunately no news on a release date has been given. Someone on this forum posted a link to some pictures of the new maps and they look pretty freakin sweet.

Can't wait for loading docks...I love maps with water. My new thing is to skullk around in the water stalking/popping up and sniping people...then diving back in. (going all 'seal team six' on their asses)

The best is on peir17...when an enemy radar is activated I sit in the water while watching people furiously searching for me or shooting into the water. I love the ripple effects when looking up.

oh BTW...I tried playing COD:BLOPS recently and quickly realized how much I love C2. Numerous times I had a subconscious feeling to 'cloak' or 'ledge grab' in BLOPs.

this game isnt perfect by any means at all, but it sure as hell is fun. hopefully they get some issues fixed and then release the dlc. i really do enjoy it, but there are times i want to throw my controller through the wall. just think that some games out there arent perfect either, so i will continue to enjoy c2. ive been following for a long time, purchased it, played it, and lovin it. to me at the moment, there are no other games that gain my interest except bf3. all else....eh!

800 points? With all this **** lag and terrible ass servers, they should amke it free. Instead charging 10 bucks for 3 maps that will just increase the glitches, and severely disappoint some players as well as have **** ton of threads complaining about spots or lag with the new maps.

I'll be honest, I don't have a real issue with lag from game to game. bullet lag rears it's ugly head some times (especially during big firefights) but I currently have a 2.08 K/D on my second reboot and am thouroughly enjoying it. If anything, the stupid host migration failure is my biggest gripe. Oh and if you had actually read the previous posts then you would know it is 4 maps not 3. 4 maps for $10 is much better than most companies have released lately. So yes, I will buy them, play them, and enjoy them and if you hate this game so much there is no shame in moving on to something else that makes you happy.
