DMG & Melee explanation for all those who complain.

The damage system in this game is set up way diffrently than other fps, for instance in COD u can shoot someone in the foot and they will die. In crysis the damage is set up on each player into critical zones ( Head & upper torso = most dmg ) (Arms legs and lower torso = minimal damage.) So when you are shooting dont spray like a tard like most do in cod. You have to line your shots up perfectly and youll do fine. As for melee same thing if you smack them in the face with your gun its a one hit kill most of the time ( if you are doing torso hits your looking at around 2-3 hits to kill them. its all based on crit zones and people not knowing how to use them properly.

Are the killcams accurate because they certainly dont look that way. Im shooting them dead in the face but the KC shows that im not even on target. If what im seeing through the KC is actually what my target is seeing then i'm not surprised i'm not killing anyone.

This is no BS. Ive shot more than enough people in the back of the head for them to turn around & shoot me once in the gut whilst in armour mode & die WTF is all that about?

The killcam in this game is worthless. Its nice for a final killcam, but useless and even annoying the way its implemented now.

The whole "i shot him 100 times and he turns around and kills me"-problem is easily circumvented by joining another game. Every p2p based game has this. Its more noticeable in this game since it takes more shots to kill someone compared to CoD.

This game is more difficult and complicated than CoD. I think a lot of whining and complaining is caused by this. People who think they are better than they actually are, feel indignant when they get owned.

How do I find another game when the game is dead & 9 times out of 10 your put back with the same people & then the same **** happens. I agree that its more difficulty than CoD but it wouldn't be as difficult if it wasnt so inconsistent.

Yes i can attest to the killcam and the hit detection on bullets is garbage. that is mostly due to the poor netcoding and lag issues we are all suffering throught the multiplayer experience. If crynet patches the netcode and lag issuse almost all of these problems we are experiencing will go away. For instance i have noticed when im in a really good server or i am host the hit detection and dmg is near perfect it take 3-5 bullets to kill a person, versus when im in a crappy server the hit detection is laggin by a few secondes so it takes around 10-20 rounds to kill a person beacuse the information is not transfering fast enough to keep up with the game thus you get all the problems that you guys mentioned.

I rarely get these kind of problems. I consistently get scores like 20-6.

I dont want to brag about it, but my K/D is 3.12 and I don't get nearly as much **** in this game as in CoD.

I might be just really **** at it mate but throwing lag issues in to it defo doesn't help haha. Ive had a 1 k/d since starting, i'm rank 27 with only 5 kills in front of deaths & I cant get it any higher than 1.02. How the **** any of you kill people with Acogs or snipers in this game amazes me.

All FPS games should have different speeds for moving & scoping like Socom & Vanquish

I just would like to add, though I agree that the damage areas are great for bullets, the melee needs to be nerfed because when are you not gonna melee someone in the head or chest/back?

So maybe you guys/girls should attemp to do this and posibly get better at this game (not saying your bad at it).

It's not about being good or bad or skills. My K/D is 1.86 and I rarely go negative and am usually the MVP in the games I play. My win/loss ratios is superb at 6.xx but I still suffer from all the issues everyone here is stating. Stop backing up the game when it clearly is broken. Just because you and I can play through the bullsh*t lag and crappy hit detection doesn't mean everyone else can.

The game chooses the crappiest host most of the times and the only time the damage counts and hit detection is on spot is when you yourself are host. Other times you have to shoot 2x as much bullets to kill someone and you have to lead most of your shots by 2-3 feet in front of the target to get a kill. The lag gets to the point that you only notice it when you shoot or get shot at.

For example: Me and playerB are in a gun fight and I rung out of bullets in my clip so I turn a corner to reload only to finish reloading and all of a sudden I'm dead. What happened here? According to my kill cam I was dead before I even turned the corner yet on my screen I got to reload and everything. Things like this happen all the time and for a FPS this is clearly unacceptable.

I am still playing the game tho, I'm giving it a chance, I only got it a few days ago and I'm really good at it. I cna only imagine how beast I'd be with good host and connections.
